Privacy policy
This policy explains how Insightpress Journal handles personal information. It was last updated on .
Who publishes this site
The publisher is Dansk Data Service ApS, registered address Søndermarksvej 104, 1. th, 7000 Fredericia, Denmark, registration number 36731540, VAT number DK36731540. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
This site has no user accounts, no newsletter, no analytics package, no advertising network, no tracking pixel, no social plugin and no third-party script of any kind.
The contact form on the contact page does not transmit data to a server and does not store messages, names or email addresses. It only shows an on-page thank-you state in your browser.
The only information we intentionally store on your device is your cookie-consent choice, described below.
Cookie-consent choice
When you choose Accept or Refuse on the cookie notice, we store a single key named cookie-consent in your browser’s local storage, with the value accept or refuse. The purpose is to remember your decision so the notice does not reappear on every visit. The value remains until you clear site data or use the “Cookie preferences” control in the footer, which deletes the key and shows the notice again.
Nothing is written to storage before you make a choice.
Server logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider may keep standard server logs (for example IP address, date and time, requested URL and technical user-agent string) to ensure security and diagnose faults. Those logs are managed by the host and are typically retained for a limited period necessary for operations and security, generally no longer than thirteen months, unless a longer period is required to investigate an incident.
Purposes, legal bases and retention
- Remembering cookie preference — stored only after you choose; legal basis: your consent or, where applicable, our legitimate interest in respecting a refusal without degrading access; retention: until you clear it or change your mind via the footer control.
- Responding to email you send us — if you write to [email protected], we process the content of that correspondence to reply; legal basis: legitimate interest in answering readers and, where relevant, steps toward a contract; retention: as long as the exchange remains useful, then deleted or archived according to ordinary business practice.
- Hosting security logs — legal basis: legitimate interest in securing the service; retention: as indicated above.
No sale or international transfer of reader lists
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers. We do not operate cross-border transfers of reader databases because we do not maintain such databases from this site. Hosting infrastructure may process technical logs as part of ordinary website delivery; we do not use that channel to build marketing profiles.
Your rights
Subject to Australian privacy law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, erasure where appropriate, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, and portability of information you have provided to us in a structured form where applicable.
To exercise these rights, write to [email protected] with enough detail for us to identify your request. We will respond within a reasonable period.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): https://www.oaic.gov.au/.
Children
The site is a general-audience news publication. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect technical or legal changes. The date at the top of this page will be revised when that happens. Last updated: .
